About Me

Born and raised in the beautiful and diverse city of Vancouver, British Columbia I was fortunate enough to spend the majority of my childhood outdoors. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean, North Shore Mountains, Stanley Park and an endless list of lakes, parks and outdoor urban escapes it’s understandable that 40 years later I would find myself on a journey to return to the basics.

Mom to three amazing, adult children I can tell you being a parent is both the most rewarding and the most difficult thing in life (something most of you probably already know). Trying to balance the whole "roots and wings" thing is complicated, because no matter how old they get they will always be my "babies".
